Bulldogs’ strength and endurance pays off

The team-building was done 'old military style'

Clover Leaf Ladysmith Bulldogs rugby players took part in team-building exercises at the entrance to Platrand Lodge yesterday (Saturday) afternoon, starting at about 1.30pm.

The whole team took part in this event, which is held once a year. The team-building was done ‘old military style’.

There were sand bags and tyres to put the players through their paces, while the raging sun beat down and further depleted their energy levels. Nonetheless, the well-trained ‘manne’ held their heads high and performed admirably to finish the race that was set out for them.

ER24 paramedics were on hand throughout, just in case someone got injured, which thankfully did not happen.
