DHS catches severe athletics fever

DHS is proud to announce the following prizewinners for the annual inter-house athletics meeting. Chante Groenewald took the most trophies with her outstanding talent.

Khulani Dladla – W Slabbert Trophy for Boys u/14 800m.

Jan-Frederick Van Zyl – W Solms Trophy Junior Victor Ludorum.

Larnell Nero – Danie Joubert Trophy for Boys u/19 200m.

Vryheid High relay event
On February 10, DHS learners travelled to Vryheid in order to compete against various schools in the district. Excitement ran high as teams prepared to race against other teams in their age groups. It was an enjoyable outing and DHS managed to finish 4th out of seven schools.

 
2016 Midmar Mile
The following learners travelled to Pietermaritzburg to take part in the Midmar Mile challenge: Thealize Jacobs, Dremar Jacobs, Keaton von Rauenstein, Duane Lauwrens, Nadia Raffenberg, Staphan Ferreira, Megan Peddy, Mrs Venter, Gabby Carter and Mrs Carter. Well done to all these inspiring swimmers.
