TAKE NOTE: Burst pipe in Barry Hertzog Park fixed

Most of the residents of Barry Hertzog Park were without water yesterday as a result of a burst pipe.

Most of the residents of Barry Hertzog Park were without water yesterday because of a burst pipe.

“The pipe was fixed and residents started receiving water,” said Municipal Water Services Customer Relations Manager, Doctor Dumisani Thabethe.

However, residents of Amajuba Park also experienced water shortages due to burst pipes. Water tanks were dispatched to the affected areas and residents were notified before the water was shut off.

“I sent a message on Facebook early this morning to make residents of Amajuba Park aware of the shortage of water,” said Dr Thabethe.

He subsequently confirmed that parts of Amajuba Park are already receiving water.
