Kidz Corner hosted its annual Mr and Miss Valentines competition on February 12.

School principal, Sharon Chowthee, said the purpose of the day was to make children aware of love and unity, as February was the month of love.

“We want to teach our young ones to love and care for one another,” she explained.

The children paraded around the school grounds, expressing their unique talents and passion for modelling, prompting big smiles and a whole lot of charm, all in the hope of taking home the title of Mr and Miss Kidz Corner.

The children who expressed fierce charm and won the hearts of the teachers were Andile Khanyile and Rodina Central, who wore their crowns and sash with big smiles and honour.

“I wish all my pupils an abundance of love and happiness, and I strongly believe our little ones are precious, so treat them with a lot of love,” Mrs Chowthee concluded.
