Mayor officially opens community hall
The hall will assist the community with social gatherings such as community meetings and other events

Mayor Vincent Madlala officially opened and handed over the Nkuthu community hall on Thursday, February 11.
The hand-over took place amid a large number of community members who had gathered to witness the benefits of service delivery.
The mayor was accompanied by Ward Councillor SD Sokhela, as well as Inkosi TR Khumalo.
The hall will assist the community with social gatherings such as community meetings and other events that could not have been held before.
Addressing the community, Mayor Madlala said that the municipality has a good record of looking after its finances and delivering to the community within the budget.
He told them that the community hall cost R3,980,990.28 to construct and further urged the community to look after the establishment.
After the hall was officially opened and handed over to the public, the community was given the opportunity to view the State of the Nation Address (SONA) on the big screen in their new hall.
Community members expressed gratitude for the hall, which also houses a crèche which assists the young kids of the area in receiving much-needed education.
