CMA pays a visit to the PPK church
The Pastor had fought a long battle with drug addiction before he turned to God
On Saturday 20 February, the Christian Motorcycle Association (CMA) arrived in Ladysmith to meet with members of the Pinkster Prottestante Kerk (PPK). The CMA was started by Renea Changuin 35 Years ago in Johannesburg. He had survived a serious motorbike accident and realized he had to change his life by giving back to the community and bring people to God, one soul at a time.
The members of this Motorbike ministry are from all walks of life and from many parts Kwazulu Natal. Their motto is to Bring Christ to the motorcycle rallies by proclaiming the word of the Lord.
They reach out to various communities during their visits to hospitals or when they extend a helping hand to those in need.
On Sunday 21st February Pastor Christian Brandenburg of the CMA led the church service spreading words of encouragement for the residents of Ladysmith, urging them to put God first. He shared experiences of his life and convinced them that nothing is impossible with God on your side.
The Pastor had fought a long battle with drug addiction before he turned to God and said that only through God’s mercy and strength was he able to change his old ways to start living in God’slight.
Today he is actively involved in helping others struggling with the addiction and assisting them to part their ways away from drugs and getting to appreciate the mercy of the Lord.
