It’s the Shavathon this weekend
THE annual CANSA Shavathon will be hosted by the Vryheid Herald, and will take place at the Pick ‘n Pay parking area this Saturday.
THE annual CANSA Shavathon will be hosted by the Vryheid Herald, and will take place at the Pick ‘n Pay parking area this Saturday.
It will operate from 8:30am to 2:00pm, with shaves costing R40 and, if you prefer, you can have your hair sprayed for R20.
All the money raised will go to the Cancer Association of South Africa.
People having their hair shaved (and remember, you can select the length number from 0 to 5, “0” being virtually bald!) will have their before and after pictures printed in next week’s Vryheid Herald.
It is a fun morning with a very serious side, raising funds for a very dreaded disease.
