New face at Hamilton Preparatory School
Not only is Mrs Botha a qualified teacher, she is also qualified in Biokinetics

Hamilton Preparatory recently welcomed a new educator at the school. 29-year-old Mrs Shannyn Botha is the “new face” at Hamilton. Mrs Botha was born in Pietermaritzburg and moved to Bloemfontein when she was three years old. She schooled and finished her varsity studies in Bloemfontein.
She has been happily married for two years now. Towards the end of last year, she and her hubby moved to Ladysmith after she got a teaching position at Hamilton. Her husband Michael is a farm manager in Bergville.
Not only is Mrs Botha a qualified teacher, she is also qualified in Biokinetics.
At first she was very anxious in coming to live in Ladysmith, as she was so used to Bloemfontein. However, after moving here, she has no regrets!
“The community and the place is beautiful. The staff and management at Hamilton are my family now,” she smiles.
Mrs Botha teaches Grade 4, 5, 6 and 7. She loves all the children and is determined to give them a great education.
“I really believe God gave me a purpose to come to Ladysmith and I am glad,” concludes Hamilton’s new teacher.
