Update: Suspected card cloners appear in court
Police found cash, cell-phones and wallets containing various cards
Two men who were arrested by K9 Unit and TRT officers on Tuesday afternoon will be appearing in court today (Thursday).
According to Captain Charmaine Struwig, the two men, aged 28 and 36, allegedly approached an 18-year-old woman at an ATM in a local shopping complex on Tuesday afternoon and pretended to assist her.
When her money and card did not come out of the machine, the woman alerted a security guard who assisted her in catching up to the men.
Police were called and the two suspects, including their vehicle, were searched.
Police found cash, cell-phones and wallets containing various cards.
The two men were arrested for theft.
