Two arrested for dagga possession

The street value of the seized packages of dagga is approximately R4 500

Two men have been arrested when Amangwe police found them in possession of dagga on Wednesday, March 2 in the Mqedandaba area.

A 19-year-old man was arrested and about 3.5kgs of dagga was recovered by police. A 20-year-old man was also found in possession of a small packet of dagga, weighing a few grams.

The suspects appeared briefly in the Estcourt Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, March 3.
