Celebrating turning a year older is a special occasion and should be treated as such.

So when a member of the Estcourt Senior Citizens Club celebrates a birthday, the club members prepare a party and celebrate with them.
This is done once every month on the first Wednesday and members born during the previous month are spolit with cake and candles.

Wednesday was no different and three members, Mrs Naidoo and Mr and Mrs Jogie celebrated turning a year older. In January Mrs Sylvie Naidoo and Mrs Mocktar celebrated their special days.

“Birthdays are special and we want our members to feel this as well,” said Estcourt Senior Citizens Club Chairperson Sushie Nandhan.
