Young man in court over alleged bestiality

The community is reeling after hearing about the brutal acts of bestiality.

A 20-year-old man from the Wasbank area is appearing in the Ekuvukeni Court today for the alleged rape of animals in the area.

This comes after a case of cruelty to animals was opened at the Ekuvukeni police station after he allegedly admitted to raping a dog on December 16.

A local psychiatrist and Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL) workers went to pay him a visit on Monday afternoon after people from the Wasbank area told her about a young man who had allegedly been raping animals.

The man allegedly admitted to everything, including the raping goats in the area.
