Angry residents complain about the state of Agra Road

"Isn't there a way to fix the problem permanently and have the road fixed for motorists?"

Angry residents say that Agra Road is in a terrible state because of a burst pipe that just won’t stay fixed.

uThukela workers come around every few months to fix a burst pipe at the very same spot. Every time, the road gets more and more damaged, causing a problem for motorists who fear damaging their vehicles.

One angry motorist fumed that, “We can’t remember when we had a proper road to drive on! The sand and broken pipes just get dug up and left there on the sidewalk, as if uThukela know they will just have to return and fix the pipe again. Isn’t there a way to fix the problem permanently and have the road fixed for motorists?”

No comment has been received from uThukela.
