No power as branches fall on electricity cables

The road was left in darkness, as there were no streetlights

Branches from a huge tree broke off and fell on electricity cables in Willis Road last night (Friday). Power had to be disconnected due to safety reasons.

Public Safety and electricians were on scene, and barriers were put up for safety reasons.

The road was left in darkness, as there were no streetlights.

The branches will be removed during the course of the day.
