Suspected stolen goods found in woman’s backyard

A lady was surprised when she walked into her backyard to hang up clothes this morning (Tuesday) and noticed two dining room chairs which should not have been there. The chairs are suspected to have been stolen in Maple Crescent, Smartiesville.
She heard dogs in the neighbourhood going crazy last night and even during the course of this morning, but didn’t pay much attention to it.
But this morning, she got the fright of her life when she suddenly noticed the out-of-place items in her backyard.
She phoned the police, who responded to the scene.
“I think the robbers were in a hurry or were spotted by someone and that’s why they panicked and left these items in my yard. This neighbourhood has become very dangerous now,” said the worried resident.
