Finality at last for slain Pastor Zulu
Family and the Salvation Army Church congregation which Pastor Zulu served are hoping that justice will finally be served
Finality may soon be granted to the family of slain pastor, Hamilton Zulu, when five young men appear in the Dundee Regional Court next week where over 57 witnesses will give testimony.
Pastor Zulu’s body was found in the veld near Uelzen School on March 25 last year. The Pastor, from Ezakheni, had been selling perfume in the area from his Toyota when he picked up hitchhikers on Victoria Street.
Pastor Zulu had earlier given the five a lift in Dundee. He had also stopped to give another a man lift. However, the five attacked the hitch-hiker and threw him out of the car after stabbing him. He survived and reported the matter to the police.
Pastor Zulu was forced to draw money from an ATM and left for dead on the road to Uelzen School. His car was found in the Nyanyadu area. The men were later arrested following a tip off.
