Hand of Hope is a Non-Profit Organisation (NPO). This charity operation started at the beginning of this year.

Four community members who share the passion of giving back to the community brought Hands of Hope to life. Jenny Wreford, Karen Prinsloo, Diane King and Desmond Phungula have joined hands to restore hope within the community.

During the past three months the team has embarked on various projects such as a feeding scheme at the Estcourt Methodist Church in Victoria Street every Thursday morning, which feeds about 120 families.

The food parcels contain basic food items to last a week. The team also oversees the Moorleigh Community Care Centre, where eight learners are taught. A craft club was also opened in Moorleigh, where 20 women from the surrounding community come together and put their creative side to work to assist them in becoming sustainable.

Hands of Hope receive donations from hosting jumble sales in Estcourt. The team organises the sale when a suitable premises becomes available. Hands of Hope welcome any and all forms of donations, whether it is in cash, kind or in the form of goods.

Your donations will help run a Moorleigh vegetable garden, the Ekhwezi Crèche with 27 students and their school feeding scheme and purchase wheelchairs for special needs children, to name but a few.
