Traffic delay after collision at Van Reenen’s Pass

According to an N3TC official, traffic should be moving smoothly in about an hour (Photos taken from KZN EMS Twitter site)

Two heavy motor vehicles were involved in a collision this morning (Thursday) at Windy Corner, Van Reenen’s Pass.

One truck caught on fire and the second truck overturned. The exact cause of the collision is unknown.

No injuries were reported.

There is a major backlog of traffic. A stop and go system is in place, utilising one lane.

According to an N3TC official, traffic should be moving smoothly in about an hour.
