Schools targeted by thieves

No place is safe from brazen thieves as they target schools adding to the list of rampant house break-ins the town has encountered.

Two schools have been broken into by thieves in the past two weeks.

Dundee Junior School was broken into between April 9 at 3pm and April 11 at 6:20am.

A welding machine, a Bosch drill and a sanding machine were stolen.

Noordenveld School was also targeted between April 13 at 2:30pm and April 14 at 7:45am, entance was gained though the door.

A computer set, printer, radio speakers, microwave, stove, brooms, toilet paper, soaps, pots and science kits were stolen.

Police are investigating. No arrests have been made.
