Stolen Estcourt vehicle recovered in Camperdown

Three suspects, all aged 45-years-old, were arrested and a case of theft of motor vehicle was filed against the men

A vehicle, which was reported stolen during February this year was discovered recently by police in Camperdown.

Three suspects, all aged 45-years-old, were arrested and a case of theft of motor vehicle was filed against the men. The vehicle, which has not been identified, was reported stolen from Estcourt.

The case is currently being investigated by detectives from the Ladysmith Vehicle Identification Section.

The team is in the process of linking the suspects to other cases.

“The detectives are optimistic that more vehicles will be recovered soon,” said police spokesperson Captain Charmaine Struwig.
The suspects appeared before the Estcourt Magistrate’s Court on Monday, April 18.
