LHS swimming stars rise up

On February 19, Lincoln Heights Secondary School hosted its annual swimming gala at the Suryaville Municipal Pool.

The event was said to be a resounding success, and participants had a blast in the numerous events planned for them.

Novelty items provided an opportunity for pupils who aren’t experienced swimmers to compete.

Outstanding swimmers of the day were Desmon Sithole, the best senior boy, Ridwaan Teeth, the best junior boy, Sumaiyah Haffejee, the best senior girl and Kime Naidoo, the best junior girl.
