Endumeni’s Corporate Services Manager, Martin Hlangani, tragically died this morning when his ML Mercedes went out of control, crashed into a stream and burst into flames, leaving his body badly burned.  He was alone in the vehicle.

It is believed he was on his way to Newcastle at 5am from his Glencoe home in Northfield Crescent when the accident occurred on the Sunset Rest Road in the vicinity of Uelzen School.

Police said his car veered off the road for a 100m into the veld where it crashed into a stream and burst into flames.

No skid marks were found on the road. There are speculations that he may have passed out behind the wheel.

Police do not suspect foul play.
