Water supply cut imminent

"The Department of Water and Sanitation is going to issue a directive to AbaQulusi Municipality about the cutting of water," said Van Der Walt. "If AbaQulusi do not comply to this there will be consequences."

A meeting was held in Ulundi today to discuss the question on everyone in Vryheid’s lips… When will the water be turned off?

According to AfriForum’s Andrè Van Der Walt, who has diligently attended the meetings about the water crisis, a decision has been reached, and AbaQulusi Municipality, who arrived 50 minutes late for the meeting – but at least they arrived this time – must comply or there will be consequences.

The water will be turned off on Wednesday morning.

“The Department of Water and Sanitation is going to issue a directive to AbaQulusi Municipality about the cutting of water,” said Van Der Walt. “If AbaQulusi do not comply to this there will be consequences.”
