Father of two, Craig Pedersen made a grissly discovery on Monday morning that gnawed into his very soul.
The body of a baby was found at the municipal dump site, discarded like a piece of unwanted rubbish.
It is speculated the baby was dumped shortly before 11am.
“I got to the dumpsite at about 9am and there was nothing. I left and when I returned at about 11am, one of the guys from the dumpsite called me to say a baby’s body had been found.”
It is estimated the baby was approximately four months old.
“It is disgusting that someone did this. There are so many places for people with unwanted children to turn to. Adoption is also an option as there are people who would love to have children but can’t,” Mr Pedersen said.
Police investigations continue.
