Verlede week, 3 Mei, het ‘n hele aantal sportspanne teen Egerton Primêr in Ladysmith gaan deelneem.
Hoewel daar nie baie tyd vir oefen vooraf was nie, weens die langnaweek, het die spanne steeds goeie spel gelewer.
At the end of the day our school achieved very good results. (DJS score’s first): Netball: u/10: 7 – 6, u/11: 7 – 5, 2nd: 4 – 7 and 1st: 14 – 17. Hockey (girls): 2nd: 2 – 1 and 1st: 3 – 0. Rugby: u/9: 10 – 0, u/10: 0 – 5, u/11: 20 – 5, 2nd: 10 – 5 and 1st: 28 – 0. Dundee Juniorskool se jaarlikse mini-sportdag het die afgelope 7 Mei plaasgevind. Hou volgende week se eksemplaar dop vir al die opwinding en uitslae.
DJS Chess: On May 4, seven players participated in the Top School Chess Tournament which was held at Ethangeni Combined School. DJS team was chosen to represent Endumeni at the tournament held in Msinga on May 7.
This team will now be going to Durban to represent Umzinyathi at the Top School Tournament on June 4 – 5. Good luck, guys.
