Learners doing well

ON March 11, all the learners taking CATN, Gr 10 – Gr 12, as a subject took part in the Computer Talent Search.

 

ON March 11, all the learners taking CATN, Gr 10 – Gr 12, as a subject took part in the Computer Talent Search.

Of all our learners who look part, we want to congratulate the following learners who received certificates: Gr 10: C Appenah, R Venter and T Bure. Gr 11: R Dahl and DC Klynsmith. Gr 12: S Bini, S Khanyile, J Hagen and N Dubazana.

These learners achieved a bronze certificate beating 50% of all candidates countrywide. Lastly, Jason Hellberg, Gr 12, for achieving a silver certificate and beating 79% of all participants worldwide. Well done to these learners.

On May 7, we played our wintersport league games against Dundee High. Congratulations to the u/15A netball team who played an excellent game! The u/14A rugby team also had a brilliant game – Well done, boys!

Results: Netball: u/14A 15-9, u/14B 7-7, u/15A 25-6, 2nd 7-12 and 1st 12-20. Rugby: u/14A 42-10, u/15A 8-7, u/16A 12-43, 2nd 0-5 and 1st 18-20. Girls Hockey: 1st 0-2, 2nd 0-0, u/16A 1-2 and u/14A 4-2. Boys Hockey: 1st 1-2 and 2nd 2-2.

Chess: 5½ – 4½.

Congratulations to Marion Filter who achieved a first place in the u/17 discuss at the KZN Championships. Well done!
