Meridian Newcastle host tournament

Pupils braved the cold weather, for what turned out to be a fun and exciting tournament.

Meridian Newcastle take on St Dominics Acadamy on the netball court.

Meridian Newcastle Independent School hosted a successful soccer and netball tournament for the u/13 and u/18 sporting teams from Ferrum High School, St Dominic’s Academy and Arbor Park Primary School on Saturday, May 7. Pupils braved the cold weather, for what turned out to be a fun and exciting tournament.

Congratulations to the following teams for being the overall winners on the day:

Under 13 Netball – Arbor Park Primary

Under 18 Netball – St Dominic’s Academy

Under 13 Soccer – St Dominic’s Academy

Under 18 Soccer – Ferrum High School.

Meridian Newcastle thanked Eagle Peak Spur in Amajuba Mall for their sponsorship on the day, as well as Mr Herman Mostert and the Meridian Newcastle staff for putting together the tournament.
