Cohabiting with a water leak has been a frustrating and expensive experience for four families in Hibiscus Avenue.

For three months a water leak outside one of the homes has been flowing into neighbouring homes and yards.

Finally after repeated calls to Uthukela District Municipality, the water leak was repaired on Monday.

This was met with relief from the residents who are finally free of a damp yard.

“We are grateful that this leak has been repaired, it was becoming a big problem,” commented one of the residents.
