Mini Cricket Festival set to surpass all others

It is set to take place on Saturday, August 13, at Settlers Park, starting at 8am

It’s that time of year when the KFC Mini Cricket Festival comes to Ladysmith.

It is set to take place on Saturday, August 13, at Settlers Park, starting at 8am.

This year, the festival promises to surpass all previous festivals and we will all benefit from one of the best festivals ever.

KFC have moved mountains in order to really make this a day to remember and you are urged to be a part of this historical event.

With ‘Play-Makers’ coming on board this year, Provincial / Proteas players have already been secured and every indication is that Supersport will also cover the event. Meals and refreshments will also be provided by KFC for all participants and coaches.

An invitation is open to schools / institutions to be a part of this memorable occasion due to your loyalty to mini cricket over the years. This year, as usual, there will be four divisions, namely U/7, U/8, U/9 and U/10.

Those wishing to participate can contact Clayton Moola on 082-786-1641 or Faroek Seedat on 072-100-1007 or by e-mailing MoolaCF@saps.gov.za and ofiseedat@telkomsa.net

To maximise participation, KFC will not limit the number of teams you may enter. This is an opportunity to get as many kids as possible from your school to participate. There will be further special individual recognition, eg ‘Top Coach of the Year’, etc.

This invititation goes out for all the school in Northern KZN.
