It turns out that a truck and not a service station, as reported, was on fire at the Tugela Truck Inn this morning.
N3TC began extinguishing the blaze, and were helped by fire emergency services.
The truck was carrying Morvite porridge.
Firefighters managed to get the flames under control before they could spread.
No injuries were sustained.
