Street covered in sewage

This street is a busy thoroughfare, which makes things even worse

Second Avenue in Limit Hill is covered in toilet paper and sewage water. A resident says it only gets worse when it rains, as the toilet paper and dirty water pushes up out of the drain.

Residents say that work has been done on the drain before, but it has been a month now that the drain has been giving problems.

They feel very unsafe, as the situation is unhygienic and their children cannot play outside for fear of getting sick. This street is a busy thoroughfare, which makes things even worse.

Not only does it not look good, but it smells incredibly unpleasant as well. Residents are hoping that uThukela sorts out the problem soon, and for good.
