A visit by the Super Gauteng Football Club saw the Limithill Musketeers in a challenging and fiercely-contested soccer match yesterday (Wednesday) at the Limit Hill grounds.
The purpose of the match was to keep youngsters off the streets, away from drugs and crime, and get them to engage in positive activities during the school holidays.
Although the Limithill Musketeers felt slightly intimidated by their opposition from Gauteng, once they got out on the field they relaxed and gave all they had, playing to the best of their abilities.
The more-fancied Super Gauteng team were 2-0 winners on the day, but the Limithill Musketeers can hold their heads up high in the knowledge that they played some great football and only allowed two goals into their net!
