Father and son combinations dominate at Time Trials

Njabulo smashed his personal best time

2km Walk Ladies: 1st Vasanthee Naicker 16m41s, 2nd Kholiwe Buthelezi 16m58s, 3rd Louise van der Merwe 17m19s (PB), 4th Lani van der Mescht 17m41s, 5th Dead Heat Annelise van der Merwe and Sandy Thakur 19m16s, 6th Bets van der Mescht 21m55s, 7th Dead Head Luzanne van der Mescht and Maryna Pieters 23m14s.
2km Walk/Jog Mens: Dead Heat Pieter Bester Jnr and Pieter Bester 13m34s.
2km Boys Run: 1st Njabulo Duma 10m13s (PB).
2km Mens Walk: 1st Amish Gopie 19m09s. 4km Mens Run: 1st Bongani Sabelo 14m00s, 2nd Joe Khumalo 14m13s, 3rd Thokozani Pungula 14m26s, 4th Zwelihle Duma 18m45s (PB), 5th Sphephelo Ntshingila 20m17s.
Vasanthee won the 2km ladies walk event impressively. The 2km walk/jog event saw a thrilling finish with father and son fighting it out for first place.
Njabulo smashed his personal best time in the 2km boys running event.
Amish walked the 2km mens event in a credible time for his first time at time trials. Bongani cruised in to win the mens 4km run event.
Zwelihle ran another personal best this week proving that the father and son combinations are dominating.
