Hope for an underprivileged family on Mandela Day
Family rely on one pension to survive

Mandela Day is soon approaching and community activist, Myra Phillips of Future Finance, and other Good Samaritans, will contribute their 67 minutes to helping an underprivileged family in Craigside.

The group visited a home belonging to Nelly ‘Nompi’ Thwala, whose clothing items were burnt by a veld fire, leaving her and her family with close to nothing to wear.
The family’s only source of income is Mrs Thwala’s pension money which is used to maintain the house and buy groceries. The group is in the process of planning how best to assist the family.
Anyone wishing to assist can contact Myra at 060 885 0563.
