Searching for justice
In regards to the sentencing of Xioming Zhang's murderer which was published in last week's Newcastle Advertiser

Madam – What is happening to our world?
In regards to the sentencing of Xioming Zhang’s murderer which was published in last week’s Newcastle Advertiser, I was flabbergasted on reading how the second culprit walked away scott free. In my eyes, he was just as guilty as the shooter and should also face jail time.
I cannot even imagine how the widow must feel, knowing this man is walking free after he was involved in the murder of her husband.
While many people say incidents such as this is a common occurrence in our country, which it is, but South Africa is not the only country where justice seems to have died and buried.
Morals throughout the world have been cast aside to make way for a lifestyle of selfishness. People have no respect for others, as they know there will be no or little consequences for their actions.
It is time we started standing up and fighting against the evil in the world. Why must the innocent always suffer?
Lets start looking at ways to make the world a better place, and bring light to a dark world.
