What started as a chilly start to Wednesday morning for Estcourtonians in town, soon turned into a warm and hearty one for passers-by in Connor Street as hot and tasty bowls of soup were served.

The staff of the Estcourt and Midlands News prepared and served the soup to residents as part of our contribution to Mandela Day.

There were plenty of smiles, compliments and appreciation from the recipients.
