No hope for Heritage Road?

The decaying un-tarred road is an absolute nightmare to drive on and has left residents hopeless about ever seeing it repaired

Heritage Road is damaged from the beginning to the end.

A number of concerns regarding the severe damage on this road has been publicised a number of times but to date nothing has been done.
The decaying un-tarred road is an absolute nightmare to drive on and has left residents hopeless about ever seeing it repaired.

Since the road is situated in a quiet area, it has also become a haven for illegal dumping.

Winds have blown rubbish across the road, near a pool of stagnant water. There are also a number of deep potholes, which could seriously damage a vehicle.

A concerned resident was happy to see a few potholes around town repaired but is waiting on Heritage Road to be brought back to life.

“Heritage Road is part of our maintenance plan,” commented Umtshezi’s Acting Municipal Manager Elphas Dladla when contacted for comment.
