President Jacob Zuma was at Braamhoek to attend the launch of the commercialisation of Unit 4 at Ingula

The country’s president came to town yesterday (Wednesday). President Jacob Zuma was at Braamhoek to attend the launch of the commercialisation of Unit 4 at the Ingula Pumped Storage Scheme.

Ingula, a project that started in 2006, is the fourth largest pump station in the world which uses water from a reservoir to generate electricity during peak demand periods of the day.

KwaZulu-Natal Premier Willies Mchunu, Ladysmith Mayor Vincent Madlala and Minister of Public Enterprises Lynne Brown attended the launch, along with President Zuma.
