Egerton celebrates 95th birthday
Fun quiz games and other activities such as netball and hockey matches were part of the birthday celebrations
Having been founded on August 2, 1921, Egerton Primary School celebrated its 95th birthday on Agar Field today (Tuesday).
The pupils were seen having fun running around the sports ground, covered in brightly-coloured paint.
Fun quiz games and other activities such as netball and hockey matches were also part of the birthday celebrations.
“I love my school so much and I wish it a happy birthday!” said proud little Egerton pupil Esihle Zwane.
The teachers too were covered in paint and heartily joined in the celebrations together with the excitable children.
