Inclement weather blamed for refuse removal delay

Sights of torn apart refuse bags lined some streets in Estcourt last week and during the course of this week too. A delay in the refuse removal caused an unsightly concern and the Estcourt News asked Umtshezi’s Acting Municipal Manager Elphas Dladla what caused this.

“We had challenges last week, which was followed by extreme and unbearable weather conditions this week. We are addressing the challenges experienced,” commented Mr Dladla.
