Congratulations to local hero
While the 50m freestyle swimming event at the Olympic Games being held in Rio, saw Ladysmith’s own Brad Tandy smash his way through to the finals to be held on Saturday it proved just too big an ask for our guy on the day.
He finished 6th in the finals this morning 0.30 of a second away from winning a medal
An impressive first outing to the Olympics for Brad and undoubtedly not his last.
