The much anticipated first council meeting between Umtshezi and Imbabazane local municipalities will take place on Wednesday, August 17.

The municipalities have merged and are now jointly known as the Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality or KZN 237.

The meeting will be held at the Estcourt Town Hall and is scheduled to begin at 9am.

At this meeting, residents will have a clearer picture as to who their Ward and Proportional Representation (PR) Councillors are.
Clarity about the Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Speaker is also anticipated.
