NEWCASTLE – The Newcastle Senior Primary School‘s Senior Choir took part in the ATKV Applous National Competition in Stellenbosch and did the school proud.

The choir achieved a gold certificate and second place in their category. They also received the excellent accolade of singing the best Africa Song in the competition!!
Well done! It was well worth the long trip. Thank you very much to the educators (Mr and Mrs Spies, Ms Parboo, Mr J. Delport and Mr V. Kock ) who gave up their long weekend to accompany them as well as getting them safely there in the three buses.
