There has been great improvement in the overall Maths results of learners following the Clash of the Mathematical Titans event hosted by K2U.
Learners from four schools, Dundee High School, Sarel Cilliers, ML Sultan and Dundee Secondary, competed in the programme.
Five learners achieved 100% for K2U Trigonometry results while numerous learners achieved distinctions following the programme.
Both Mr Soobramoney (HOD Sarel Cilliers) and Mr Mbatha (HOD Dundee Secondary) thanked K2U for their effort and success this program has had with the students and encouraged all the students to take full advantage of the opportunity.
Founder and Director of K2U, Greg Shapiro, emphasised that this program proved beyond any shadow of doubt that the majority of students, if given the right foundation and teaching, could achieve outstanding results for Maths.
“I firmly believe that every child has the right to excel in Maths and enjoy a career that is correctly aligned to his or her talents and passion. A gift that good maths marks provide,” Mr Shapiro said.
