Dusty coal truck route dampened down

After numerous complaints, the mine has sent a water truck to regularly water down the road, to stop the dust from spreading.

Following numerous complaints about dust been kicked up by passing coal trucks, Buffalo Coal have finally attended to the matter.
The trucks travel down Browning Street, passing by homes on Beaconsfield Street as part of the coal truck route to the washing plant on the Greytown Road.
Residents say they can handle the rumbling of the trucks at 4am in the morning but it’s the dust that’s the major problem.
The dust poses a major health hazard to people living nearby as well as causing a huge mess in their homes.
The mine promised, many months ago, to keep the route watered so as to stop the dust from becoming a problem. After numerous complaints, the mine has sent a water truck to regularly water down the road, to stop the dust from spreading.
