Sewage woes continue in Limit Hill
Residents urge the municipality to fix the problem once and for all

Angry Limit Hill residents are lashing out at the district municipality after yet another pipe burst in Second Avenue has added to their seemingly endless sewage woes.
Previously, uThukela was called out to have a look and repair the sewage leak. Municipal engineers were seen fixing the pipe, but the problem has reared its ugly head yet again.
“We always see the municipality after we’ve laid a complaint and they always come to fix it, but just weeks after being fixed and the sewage is seeping out again. It is a never-ending problem,” said an angry resident.
The leak in Second Avenue is at the side of the road, with disgusting human waste pouring into the road and causing a problem for passing motorists. It is also a health hazard for children who play in the street. “They may catch deadly diseases!”
Residents urge the municipality to fix the problem once and for all, and repair the old pipes along with the new ones.
