Sarel Cilliers wishes to congratulate this remarkable young man on this outstanding achievement.

Mike Mamabolo recently spent time in Pretoria with the South African Country and District rugby team for their capping ceremony and training camp in preparation for the overseas tour to the United Kingdom. Sarel Cilliers wishes to congratulate this remarkable young man on this outstanding achievement. We wish him all of the best for a very bright future.
Cricket
Sarel Cilliers’ u/15 team played their match against Dundee High School last week in Glencoe. Dundee chose to bat first and scored 195 for the loss of 3 wickets.
Thank you to Dundee High for a great match and good sportsmanship.
Sarel jukskei players selected for KZN Team
This past weekend M Mahule, S Ngcobo and NS Dlamini took part in the Port Shepstone I.G. games. They were all selected for the KZN team. This coming weekend they will partake in a training camp in Margate.
Trial exams due soon
School staff and parents from all schools are always very nervous when these milestone exams arrive. Today we not only wish our grade 12s well, but would like to leave this message for everyone to ponder. Please remember, amongst the students who will be sitting for the exams, there is an artist, who doesn’t need to understand Maths; there is an entrepreneur, who doesn’t care about History or English literature; there’s a musician, whose Chemistry marks won’t matter; and there’s a sportsperson, whose physical fitness is more important than Physics. If your child does get top marks, that’s great! But, if he or she doesn’t, please don’t take away their self-confidence and dignity from them. Tell them it’s OK, it’s just an exam! They are cut out for much bigger things in life. Tell them, no matter what they score, you love them and will not judge them.
Please do this, and when you do, watch your children conquer the world. One exam or a low mark won’t take away their dreams and talent.
And please, do not think that doctors and engineers are the only happy people in the world.
