Help find missing dogs

Please be aware of your dogs’ whereabouts, as many dogs are being stolen out of their yards

The owners of two Pit Bulls that are only three months old are appealing to the public to please let them know if you have seen their dogs. They went missing recently from the Acaciavale area.

Any information will be treated in strict confidence, so please notify the Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL) if you have seen or heard anything.

A Bull Terrier female is looking for a good home. If you are interested, then please contact the league to make your adoption.

An important request: Pet owners, please keep your pets safe in the yard, as many dogs are being stolen in different areas around Ladysmith. Please be aware of your dogs’ whereabouts.

A special thank you to Pierre Massyn and Spar for their donations of dog food.

The AACL will be having a golf / bowls day at the Country Club this Saturday. Please come and support. For more info, you can contact Annamarie on the number at the end of the article.

The league will be holding its AGM on Wednesday, September 14, at the Catholic Hall. All are welcome to attend.

The annual Dog-a-Thon is back again and this will take place on Saturday, September 17, at Egerton’s Agar Field. There will be many categories your dog can enter, so join the dynamic team for a fun-filled afternoon and support the league. The event will start at 2pm. Start preparing!

If you are interested in making a contribution towards the AACL or you have a query, pay a visit to the kennels (on the N11 before the Limit Hill robots) or contact Annamarie on 076-151-1784.
