(Watch video) Lianie May performs in Ladysmith
A large crowd gathered at the Thandana Conference Centre to see the stunning Afrikaans musician sing all her hit songs

Popular singer Lianie May took to the stage last night (August 31) at Naunton’s Guest House as part of the ‘Toys for Joy’ drive.
A large crowd gathered at the Thandana Conference Centre to witness the stunning Afrikaans musician as she sang all her hit songs such as ‘Pleister Vir My Hart and ‘Toe Stop My Hart’. The performance had her fans off their seats, cheering and singing along with her.
The purpose of the event was for people to donate towards ‘Toys for Joy’ in the form of money, toys and canned food. Donations poured in, with some people pledging to donate in the near future.
The result was a hugely successful evening, with the audience enjoying the top-class entertainment while having a few drinks from the cash bar on offer.
An auction for an autographed CD by Lianie May also took place, which saw the CD eventually going for R1500 (which will also go towards ‘Toys for Joy’ and go a long way towards helping less fortunate children over the Christmas period).
A huge thank you goes to all the attendees and a special thanks to the Du Toit family, as they generously allowed the function to take place in the beautiful Thandana Conference Centre at no cost.
