Drakensview Primary hosts speech and drama festival

The time of year when the sounds of poetry resonate up and down the school passages has come and gone.

Choral verses, individual poems and PowerPoint presentations were enthusiastically presented to the ever patient adjudicator, Sandra Fourie.

For some children it was their first opportunity to stand on the school stage and it was terrifying while others loved having the chance to show off what they could do.

 Well done to every child who participated and to every teacher who trained and encouraged their learners.
